PM Reach

A conference for the property management industry

RACV Hobart | 18th & 19th May 2023

PM Reach is all about you. Your mindset, your wellness and your resilience. PM Reach is a retreat far away from work with content designed to empower and invigorate with speakers, stories and information relevant to your Property Management life.
People who say they love what they do have the right mindset. Be those people. With the right mindset, you are happy, more efficient and more productive at work and at home. If you’ve had the right mindset, it’s easy to get it back and if want to get the right mindset, PM Reach is for you.
“Wellness” more than ever means body and mind. And a healthy mind will often manifest a heathy body. Learn from the success of others in the industry and improve your mental wellness as they have done before you.
Property management work and resilience go hand-in-hand, but that doesn’t mean it’s easy. In fact, it’s hard to be resilient all the time. The PM Reach speakers know all about resilience and rising above difficult times and situations and they want to share their stories with you.

The Speakers

They all have a story to tell. Stories about success, mistakes, good times and hard times. Stories to make you think about yourself. And stories to help you improve.

Sadhana Smiles – MC

In 2008 Sadhana founded Links Fiji – a not for profit, focused on providing pap smears to women in remote Pacific Islands and in 2012 she bought “Walk a Mile in Their Shoes” to Victoria, getting 250+ men and women to walk a mile in Melbourne in high heels to support White Ribbon Australia.

In 2013 Sadhana published her first book “People Power – Did You Have Them @ Hello”, a step by step guide to developing and managing performance-driven team and in 2016 Sadhana wrote “I Want What She’s Having” a self-help journal to coach and mentor en masse, helping to discover who you are and what you stand for.

In 2013 Sadhana was named the Victorian Telstra Business Women of the Year, was named AFR/WBC One Hundred Women of Influence in Australia in 2016, and in 2017 Sadhana won the Victorian Leader/Manager of the Year with Institute of Managers and Leaders.

Sadhana led Harcourts Victoria to become the leading business unit globally within the group, the fastest franchise group in Australia, successfully increasing their market share over their competitors.

In 2017 she became a joint venture partner with Harcourts Group Australia in a Property Management business, Harcourts Move and in 2018 she saw an opportunity for a global role focusing on the investment sector going through rapid change.

In 2020 Sadhana took on the CEO role for the Real Estate Industry Partners with the purpose to unite the real estate industry to support the Australian economy and ensure the people working in the industry are working collaboratively to build a sustainable property future.

Tara Bradbury

The Fraser Coast is my stomping ground! I love the familiarity, lifelong friends and lifestyle that goes with it. My favourite happy place is anywhere with my husband, Shane, and our two daughters, Isabelle and Sienna. Apart from my family, property management, rent roll growth, mentoring and living the Hervey Bay lifestyle are my greatest passions. I started out in the local real estate scene in 2002 and established Active Agents in 2019.

You will find me direct and social with a (wickedly) weird sense of humour and a constant need to be busy. I love challenges that involve talking, learning and, well, people. I’m a people person you see, and helping others is at the core of my motivation. I aspire to share with others through leadership and build on the profession of our industry and clients while offering a workplace that our team loves coming to everyday.

I am a driver. I drive ideas, procedures, structure, change, actions, visions, goals, dreams .. well, anything I can really. I like to see things run smoothly and consider myself the master time-efficiency expert. I love the variety of my role here at Active Agents which includes new business, business and office management and property management. My passions within these fields are marketing, business and strategic acumen, and development.
