Welcome, introduction and housekeeping.
We are experiencing rapid changes in our industry, most of it is exciting and a lot of it can be daunting and overwhelming. With any change we experience and implement in our businesses we need to ensure that we have in place a robust plan. The key to ensuring this plan works is to make sure that our personal goals are also taken into account. We all come to work to live the life we want to have so both plans are connected at some level. In this session Sadhana will take you through a simple planning session for your business and personal life. Just remember that it is not just managers who need a plan, everyone in the business needs one to keep us on track to what we want to achieve.
For eight hours per day, five days a week property managers are solving problems, across multiple stakeholders in often unrealistic timeframes. It can be a thankless task and because they care, they often take the stress of work home which can impact their wellbeing and sense of fulfillment. This training is designed to leave property managers feeling valued for their contribution to the real estate industry and empowered to rise resilient in the world of rejection and upset.
In this session you will:
- Discover the 3 Steps to Success – how to raise your standards, simplify your strategies and elevate your state
- Learn the 5 Steps to Confidence and how to rise resilient in a world of problems, rejection and upset
- Uncover the 3 Causes of Upset and how to turn conflict into clarity with ease
- Gain Mindset Mastery Strategies to enable you to be a peak performing property manager
Starting from the bottom up, Danielle has worked on reception, in leasing, as a property manager, supervised a team, managed a department, focused on business development and continued managing property over the last 23 years. There have been mistakes, tears, successes, sleepless nights, and more tears, but she still loves what she does and is here to share some of her secrets to never giving up, being true to your values, knowing how and when to switch off and always presenting your best self to your clients.
In this session Sadhana will give you the playbook for how to blaze “your” own trail and create your own career path by being brave enough to speak up and shake things up. Sadhana believes we need empowered, driven, inclusive innovations but more importantly we need people to believe that they have the power to be heard and make a difference.
“Blaze your own trail” is about her journey, sharing her lightest and darkest days, rebuilding her life and relationships to become one of the most respected women in her industry and a role model to women in the many diverse communities in Australia.
Enjoy a cocktail dinner with a 3-hour drinks service in the restaurant.
In Danielle Cargill’s spare time, she is a Pilates instructor. Join her in the conference room for this optional 45-minute guided session.
Day 1 recap and day 2 welcome & introduction.
Naomi will be sharing realestate.com.au’s recent landlord research, which will explore what the future landlord looks like and help you to get ahead to plan and prepare for market disruptors and the impact they will have on you, your career and/or your business.
Carolyn will discuss her journey from the beginning to business ownership and operation – sharing the wins, challenges and triumphs she has experienced along the way. Finding the right balance is critical to longevity and success in this amazing PM industry we are all so passionate about.
Cate’s presentation aims to address the journey with a real edge, some rawness and as much inspiration for real estate small business as she can muster. She will touch on, finding the inspiration, finding your niche, having a brand identity (it’s an extension of YOU!), managing the challenges and “leaning on your village” – being a good villager yourself for the others in your community.
When Hayley decided to start a PM only business back in 2009 she did so with grand ideas of what she wanted it to become. When her situation changed and she sold it in 2018 she didn’t intend to start up again. But less than a year later she and her husband Warren opened Geelong Property Managers. Why? Well that is a question that has been asked a lot and one that she will answer during this informative session.
How often do we go to a conference, we go back to work, we get busy and the bottom draw becomes the smartest place in the office. All the great ideas we wanted to implement doesn’t get done because we get busy. In this session Sadhana will take you through putting together your own dreamboard to keep you on track to all the fantastic ideas you have learnt at conference for your business and your own life.
